Kerry Donlan, a railway enthusiast will be talking on the history of trains in The Meadows at The Meadows Library on April 22nd at 6:30pm.
Coincidentally, and later that night, the next phase of sliding the new tram bridge over the railway station (was due to) begin.

The trains project is the new step in the Meadows Tree project, whereby the wood felled from Queens Walk will be used to make new art.
The Meadows Art Gallery plan to contact different groups to develop themes for each story pole. The Group is anxious to hear of any ideas or contacts you may have. So, themes such as – the armed forces, sport, famous people……and so on.
“This is going to be a great opportunity to celebrate the Meadows!”
