Queens Walk Community Association
Various volunteer groups and service providers seeking to reach out to the people of The Meadows at Bridgeway Shopping Centre (much as in August last year).
Some boxing on show too, along with some loud music.
Nearly 40 users attended the AGM for the centre that serves 28 different groups.
Increased surpluses made by both the community centre and the social club.
The Meadows Advice Group visited by over 1100 clients since the move to the community centre.
I’ll load the full report later.
The AGM opened with a speech from Lilian Greenwood MP.
There were calls for more to be done.
Lilian Greenwood MP addresses the Queens Walk Community Association at its AGM, rehearses the stories of recent change in The Meadows ( My Meadows ), explains why she missed her tram stop of the meeting and discusses “Greenwood clogs”.
