Bridge ward mid-month graphical progress report – November 2015

Most visible issue is currently drug trading and drug litter. Actual big issue is lack of money in people’s pockets. New tram services have started, and, despite fears, 48 is doing OK, although not so the no.s 2 & 3 – always need to defend bus services. Other big time projects – improving Victoria Embankment & Meadows Recreation Ground, new council housing in the south-west of The Meadows and regenerating Arkwright Walk, ensuring QWCC, MYC & PLC are well used, defending residents’ & park users’ car parking, Riverside school, poor private landlords, green energy projects and celebrating local history.
We have our ward planning meeting (aka Dragons Den) on 1st December at QWCC.
