William Wise

One of 52 killed in London ten years ago.
His obituary, published by the BBC.
I understand he once worked for British Rail Computing, doing the same job in London as I was doing in Nottingham around 30 years ago.
I mention him because we should find reasons to remember.
But no finer statement can be made today than the performance of “Abide with me” at the opening of the 2012 London Olympics.
So powerful, so moving.
