Never goad a former player

Funny thing, the local derbies being Wolves, Wrexham and Walsall.
Not so funny drawing Walsall away in the first round for the second year running. We were so awful last year.

Salop missed a chance to score after two minutes; scored 2 minutes later; than missed from six years with a header that hit the bar twice.
Meanwhile, Salop fans had been getting on the back of our ex-striker, Tom Bradshaw. Never a good idea to single out a player like that. Superstition? Perhaps, but I find it always goes wrong. And it did. He equalised, with strength and style I felt he never showed for us. And despite the goading, didn’t over celebrate in front of the Salop fans.

Then Salop got the lead again – Collins deflecting a shot in.
But the football wasn’t there.
And as injury time approached, Bradshaw equalised again, deflecting a shot again.
Coulda won. Shoulda won. But gave the ball away too easily. Not like the new Salop.
